You may be experiencing self doubt in your sessions, despite having sound clinical training.
Here are some other challenges you may face:
- feeling confused about your self doubt….why do I know what to say to some clients and not others?
- nearly (or actually!) falling asleep in sessions
- ending sessions, or the whole work day, with a headache or stomachache
RECALIBRATE: Developing the Somatic Self
an eight week study series for therapists
The truth is, your own body can be a vital tool in your clinical work. Rather than offering you more therapy interventions, this study series will invite you to enhance your self awareness and use your own body as a clinical instrument. You already have the tool, come recalibrate it into efficient balance.

This program is for clinicians who are trained in a modality they love….and yet feel something is missing.
This program is for clinicians who are willing to explore their own visceral experience.
It is for therapists who end their work day with physical pain: headaches, stomach aches, and/or tension held in their body.
This program is for therapists who are curious about relational neuroscience and want a small, focused group learning experience.
This program is not for someone desiring another therapy modality. It isn’t about learning one “right” way to do the work. This program is not for people who have a rigid way of working.

Recalibrate: Developing the Somatic Self is an online, small-group study series. The group will meet once per week for 90 minutes over eight weeks. Experiential learning will be the main teaching modality with didactic components interwoven. The content is directly aimed at teaching clinicians to utilize their own bodies as clinical instruments. Therefore, the course content will build over the eight sessions to explore human stress response, somatic countertransference, co-regulation of the nervous system, and application to therapeutic intervention and case conceptualization.
Some common questions:
- How much time should I dedicate to this?
- What if I have to miss a small group meeting?
- What is the refund policy?
- Can I pay in installments?
- Are CEUs offered?

Who is running this show?

Hi! My name is Katherine. For decades of my life, I walked through the world in a zombie-like state. I over-performed in achievement, but internally was quite shut down and cut off from myself. In this state, I worked in adult residential settings, adolescent wilderness therapy, and child outpatient counseling. My life-changing transformation began when I started to study and apply relational neuroscience. I understood my intense clinical experiences in a new way. After applying nervous system regulation to my work, my physical health shifted, my confidence grew, and I have fallen in love again with being a therapist!
